Who We Are
Jill Kingston is the owner of The Sitter Connection and has extensive experience in child care as a nanny, babysitter, teacher, children’s hospital volunteer, Girl Scout leader, and mother. For the last 20 years Jill has cared for children and helped to educate others in caring for children. Earning a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State and a Masters in Education from Wright State, Jill has many years of training in child development. After working as a teacher, she decided to stay at home to be a full-time mom and open The Sitter Connection in 2003 to help families in the communities. Today, Jill stays at home with her three children and runs The Sitter Connection. But she does not run The Sitter Connection alone.
Nick Kingston is our Operations Manager. His current focus is on business development and long term strategy. Nick holds an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and a Masters degree in Business Administration, both from Wright State University.
Angela Griffith is our Finance Manager. She is responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll for The Sitter Connection. Angi holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Wright State University.
Elizabeth Hamilton and Patti Rettig are the Placement Coordinators. They are in charge of working with all the families and sitters to coordinate schedules and placements.
Amy Caldwell is our Regional Recruiter in Phoenix, AZ. She previously worked for The Sitter Connection as a Placement Coordinator in our Dayton office.
Amanda Penwell and Meg Piasecki are our Columbus Regional Recruiters. Both Amanda and Meg earned their undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University.
Christi Delloma is our Regional Recruiter for Dayton and Cincinnati. Christy earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati.
Our recruiters are responsible for generating interest in our service for both babysitters and families. In addition, they also personally interview potential babysitters and nannies in their region. Living in the area for which they are responsible helps us better understand the unique circumstances of each community.
The Sitter Connection also partners with the following agencies for their expertise with tax law, business law, and intellectual property law: Weston &Company, Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and Legally Nanny.
